New to chiro billing here, and I sure could use some help getting 98941-AT paid from Medicare. My provider is documenting subluxation for at least 3 spinal regions, but (without posting a sample chart) I'm not sure he's documenting the subluxation well enough
He likes to use a myalgia Dx plus the required subluxation Dx codes, but he rarely uses anything from the 721.x or 739.x families
1) is a 721.x/739.x required?
2) does he have to use a PART exam format?
3) Any other tips or tricks?
I'm guessing this will all come down to bad or missing chart documentation, but anything specific I can talk to my provider about will be greatly appreciated
