is it ok to be billing CPT codes 87507 87324 and 87449 together. Our providers are ordering a GI PCR panel and then also the Clostridium difficile toxin A/B test. The cdiff comes back negative. Isnt the Cdiff part of the GI panel already?
I understand when the Cdiff is positive it automatically reflexes an additional test. Any help or resources is appreciated.
