What kind of insight do you need? We bill 96132 with EEG code 95816 for our Brainscope procedures for patients who might have a concussion.
 
Looking to see if anyone uses these codes for Neuropsych testing. Would be done in our office by our provider and looking to see if anyone bills these two codes specifically, no tech involved. What is your experience billing them? Thanks.
 
Well, we don't bill 96136, so I can't speak to that, but when we bill 96132 with 95816 the EEG, recording awake and drowsy, we don't get too many denials as far as I am aware. I am not a biller, just a coder. We bill our 2 codes with S06.0x0a and the majority pay that way. Sometimes our providers add F07.81 to it, but once that gets removed, it pays, because Concussion and Post Concussion Syndrome should not be billed together.
