Hello!
I know that speech (92507) therapy is a non-timed code, while OT (97530) is timed at 15 minutes. If you are billing a 30 minute co treatment session for this scenario - there is no case where you'd be allowed to bill the full 2 units of 97530 AND 92507, correct? I understand that speech is untimed, but, if we are billing a full 30 minutes of OT, and the therapy session is only 30 minutes in TOTAL (for the full co-treat session) how could we possibly bill more than 1 unit of 97530 + 92507. Right?
I am getting pushback from the clinical team stating that since speech is untimed it doesnt follow the 8 minute rule, which I understand, but, OT does!
