Patient receiving two doses of intravenously administered umbilical cord mesenchymal stem cells separated by a 72+ 6hour interval. Per Study the UC-MSC administration via intravenous infusion that fall under the allogeneic CPT category since the mesenchymal stem cells are umbilical cord-derived, infusion performed by CTRS research nurses. Nurse notes: administer premeds (Diphenhydramine and Hydrocortisone) for the first 30 minutes then the MSCs is infused for about 10 minutes and then observe patient for 5 or 6 hours. What procedure would you code for the Umbilical Cord Derived Mesenchymal Stem Cells infusion?
