Grouper, HAVEN Updates Due To ICD-9 Codes Posted
You should have begun using updated ICD-9 diagnosis codes this month, and your grouper software needs to match them. The HH PPS grouper that includes ICD-9 codes that took effect Oct. 1 is available at www.cms.gov/HomeHealthPPS/05_CaseMixGrouperSoftware.asp, CMS said in the latest home health Open Door Forum.
