• Amedisys Inc. will be one of the agencies receiving a piece of the pay for performance demonstration profits. The Baton Rouge, La.-based national chain is "receiving $3.4 million ... based on its performance during the first year of the Medicare Home Health Pay for Performance (HHP4P) demonstration," it says in a release. CMS is awarding $15.4 million to agencies in three of four demo regions (see Eli's HCW, Vol. XIX, No. 16, p. 124).
