Mini-Checklist: Get Your MDS Signatures & Completion Dates In Order

Don’t forget about other clinicians’ signatures, too.
One sure-fire way to encounter problems with submitting MDS records is to leave out required signatures, titles, and accurate completion dates. Make sure every MDS record has the following signature/date items completed before the record leaves your hands:
