Summary

The provider inserts an additional aqueous drainage device into the interior of the eye with its end in the subconjunctival space; the device does not include a reservoir to hold the fluid. The device drains aqueous fluid from the eye and lowers intraocular pressure in a patient with glaucoma, i.e., increased pressure within the eye from buildup of fluid.
