Report 0600U only for FidaLab Molecular Wound Infection Test from FidaLab LLC. This molecular test identifies bacteria, fungi, and other organisms that can cause wound infections and detects genes that make those organisms resistant to antibiotics. The test analyzes a wound swab sample using real–time polymerase chain reaction (PCR) to detect the genetic material of 65 possible organisms and 30 antibiotic resistance genes. Each organism tested is reported as positive or negative.
