In this add–on procedure, the provider restores the blood supply in each additional unilateral tibial or peroneal artery through endovascular, open or percutaneous approach after he performs the same procedure in an initial vessel. He performs this procedure with an atherectomy, a surgical procedure to remove plaque from the blood vessel. This code includes an angioplasty procedure when provider performs it within same vessel during this procedure. Use this code when the provider performs this procedure on each additional vessel.
