At the same session as an initial tibial or peroneal revascularization service, the provider performs atherectomy (removal or debulking of plaque inside an artery), with angioplasty when performed, in a straightforward lesion (stenosis) of an additional vessel in the tibial and peroneal vascular territory. This territory includes the anterior tibial, posterior tibial, and peroneal arteries. The service includes all access, catheterization, lesion crossing, and imaging guidance needed to complete the procedure.
