Ultrasound of transplanted kidney(s) is performed using sound waves to obtain pictures of the kidney. Color Doppler imaging (duplex Doppler) is used to check the overall blood flow of the kidney. The blood vessels inside the kidney(s) as well as the vessels leading to and from the kidney are observed in this study.
