    Can 31622 and 31825 be billed together?

    I received a rejection for code 31622 stating code was used more than what is normally expected per claim. I didn't see any NCCI edits for codes 31622 and 31825 but does anyone know if I can bill those two together? Code 31622 does say separate procedure, but code 31825 doesn't mention anything...

    The doctor did closure of tracheocutaneous fistula with rotational muscle flap, complex multi layer closure/plastic closure. I have cpt code 31825. Does that code include doing a rotational muscle flap or can I code 14040 with 31825? I didn't see any NCCI edits but I wasn't sure if the muscle...
