Wiki Vision and Audiometry - Mod 59 or XU?

Hi, Some of our Arizona Access carriers are rejecting the Vision and Audiometry codes as wrong modifier and we've been billing with 59 and EP. Looks like Codify says EP isnt correct but working with owner/insurer on what they want. After a recent AAPC meeting on 59 VS the CMS X modifiers...

Hi Everyone. I am hoping someone can help me. I am trying to figure out if when billing 99382-99384 or 99392-99394 (prev med visit new/est pt) with 99173 (vision screening) if the vision screening needs a 59 modifier for the state of MN? Per the the Minnesota Child and Teen Checkups (C & TC)...
