    Wiki Ob drop in visit?

    When a OB patient comes in as a drop in and the dx is elevated bp, do we still code it as a subsequent prenatal visit?

    Hello, I have a question as to whether or not you drop the Z code while the patient isn't receiving treatment... For example, if a patient is admitted on 1/1 for induction of chemotherapy, finishes treatment on 1/8, remains in the hospital and has repeat biopsy on 1/14, repeat biopsy shows...

    Wiki z34 codes and o09 codes

    If you are given z34.01 and o09.511 codes for lab work. If I'm reading the code book correctly you can't use them together. If they are given together are you allowed to not use one or do you need permission to drop one of the codes?
