    Wiki Failed finger replantation converted to amputation

    How would you code this? Patients phalanx was replanted with good blood flow. However, during the surgery blood flow began to fail & the procedure was converted to a finger amputation with closure. Do you just code the 26951 or 26952 depending on closure? Would you still code the 20816 - 20827...
