    Wiki How do get patients to tell you they are in a SNF

    How do you get your patients to tell you they are in a SNF? We only find out when claims are billed and denied due to patient being in a SNF. Wonder if anyone has a better way.

    Wiki Kyphoplasty SNF

    Hi! We have a doctor that wants to do a kyphoplasty in office (which he normally does), but the patient is in a Part A stay at a SNF. Do we just bill straight medicare for this? Or is the SNF going to be responsible for some portion? Thank you!

    Hi All, I could use some insight. Our physicians do rounds at SNF facilities and do some Inpatient rounds and hospitals as well. They are not doing psychotherapy sessions, they are reviewing the whole chart and initially evaluating to see if patient is depressed or having manic episodes, etc...
