10021- my note states the lesion was aspirated, a total of 6 aspirates we performed. Would you bill 1 unit or 6 units?

The code descriptor seems to indicate one aspiration. Was it six separate punctures? Or six samples drawn from the same puncture site? If they were separate punctures I would be inclined to bill 6 units - it would be easier to defend if denied.
