Hello,
I am looking for anyone that can confirm this for me. I&D done on a cyst and also IL injection of kenalog. Can both be billed on the same location at the same DOS? I have heard different responses from different sources. Some say to bill the I&D-10060 and the J3301, some say to bill 10061 as it is complicated since you are doing additional work on the cyst, some say only bill the 10060, and I have also heard you can bill the 10060, 11900, and J3301.
Thanks in advance for your expert advice!!
Jen:)

These are not bundled according to the NCCI edits. These can be performed together.

10060 vs. 10061 is simple vs. complicated. Complicated usually means it's been packed or a drain inserted. But you can certainly inject it with kenalog after the I&D.

You have DermCoder... it'll check it for you to see if it's bundled!
