New to Podiatry - Example:

Dr cuts 1 callus on the RT foot and 2 on the LT foot . . . would you bill 11055 RT and 11056 LT (because its 2 diff locations) ?

If he does 1 on the RT 2nd digit and 1 on the RT 4th digit . . . would you bill 11056?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

These codes are quantitative. You would bill according to the total number of lesions treated. So, in both your example above, you will bill 11056 x 1
