In the NPFS October 2021 release, 1111F was listed with indicator M for measurement codes. In the NPFS January 2022 release, it was changed to indicator I for not valid for Medicare purposes. Does anyone know the reasoning behind this change? Is there a new reporting code the Medicare now wants to see for this scenario? I have already reviewed the CMS about the 1111F from 2019, but does that even matter anymore if it’s no longer considered a reporting code by Medicare?
