Question for all of you...

We have a new surgeon who submitted the following codes for a procedure done in the office:

11404, A4550

The code A4550 will not pass our claim edits. It has a $0 dollar amount attached. Do you bill with this code? Do you have a set amount, or do you also bill $0? If you bill $0, what is the purpose of submitting this code? Wouldn't it be bundled into the 11404?
