Hello,
Our patient has been suffering from delayed wound healing and wound dehiscence since her ORIF of the lower left leg. My ortho doc removd the implants (20680), applied a bilogic soft tissue graft (17999), as well as prepared the site for the graft 15002. He also wants to bill 13160 secondary closure of wound for dehiscence. His procedure states:
I believe 13160 would not be billable becuase he prepared the site for the graft and applied the graft then sutured it into place to close up the wound.
Any feedback would be greatly appreciated.
