A surgeon will be performing a Transcather Aortic Valve Replacement on a patient. Two Anesthestiologists will be assigned to the case. One will be monitoring the TEE; the second monitoring the Swanz. One of the two will also administer and monitor the Anesthesia during the procedure. Are the services of both Anesthesiologists be billed? If so, how would this be billed - for the procedure(s) they monitored, including the anesthesia time of the case for the one that was administering the Anesthesia? Thanks in advance!!
