2 charges for the same service in inpatient vs. an outpatient setting?

Can someone explain why a hospital would have two different charges for the same exact service ( i.e. CT scan w/out contrast) for an inpatient vs. an outpatient setting?
 
Check your revenue codes for each line item; if they are different, it may be that the hospital has a contract with its radiologists and is billing for them on UB, as well as the TC charge for the service. Just a thought. Another may be services on different dates of service, though that would seem unusual to me.

You could always summarize those line items on your post to help clarify and allow us to see exactly what you are talking about.
