Wiki 2 Nerve Block Injections - 2nd Request

My physician says he did 2 injections into the right lesser occipital nerve. Can I bill for 2 injections into the same nerve?

Please advise. I have tried to find the answer to this. I can find that I can bill the CPT code more than once, but nothing about 2 or more injections into the SAME nerve. As I am new to pain management coding, I want to be sure I am billing appropriately.

64405 has an MUE edit of 1, so you can only bill the same nerve x 1 per DOS.

This code can be billed as a bilateral (modifier 50) when performed, 1 line, 1 unit, modifier 50.
