Wiki 2 Practices, 1 Doctor=merging

I manage 2 practices, but they are owned by the same company and work out of the same office and use the same staff. So, we have Practice A charts and Practice B charts.One of the doctors in Practice A is switching to Practice B. My question is, can we just keep the Practice A chart intact, and convert it into a Practice B chart? Or do we need to keep the Practice A chart completely separate? (it will never be used again)
I know....confusing!!
