My problem is that our schedulers scheduled a p&p and pre-op exam on the same day but with different providers. Is there any way to to get them both paid. The p&p is just routine no problems the pre-op was schedule by the surgical office. I need a little guidance on this. Thanks in advance for the help.:
 
By P&P do you mean pap and pelvic? Is this a Medicare patient? You may bill for the G0101 and Q0091 along with an E&M service. Just use a 25 modifier on the E&M.
 
This is not a medicare patient and p&p is pap and pelvic. I just don't think I can get both providers paid. Both are paid under same tax ID number.
