Do other people have yellow dots in the 2020 AMA CPT book? I'm hoping that it's just my copy because my eye are not likely them and would like to get another.
 
Yes it is a new thing this year. AMA CPT book started doing it this year to prevent copying. On page xviii in the introduction, the second paragraph talks about it.
 
I just now figured out after taking a review class for the CPC and looking at the book for a few hours, that I couldn't read it. I do not need glasses to drive but do have 'dry eye' and some distortion from RK and PRK years ago. I wondered, had I missed those dots before? No, I opened my new 2021 book and NO YELLOW dots except where there isn't text. I have to take my test with the 2020 book and may have to use a magnifying glass, or just strong 'readers' only. THIS was a terrible thing to do with an already 'SMALL' font! I wonder if I can use my 2019 for my test next month? The last books I had to use for coding were 2019.
