2027 OBGYN Changes

Has anyone started billing using the new guidelines in anticipation of the 2027 OBGYN code changes? Some of our payors (in NY) are wanting us to start implementing the changes now, but it's not clear to me how. I had been under the impression that we were going to continue using the global codes (0502F) until the end of the year, then come Jan. 1 we would bill out either 59425 or 59426, and then start using e/m codes. But in some of the correspondence with our payors, they're wanting us to start billing e/m codes now. I've been coding for a few years now, but this is my first time working through a big change like this, so any insight is greatly appreciated!
