Good Morning,

We have a physician who bills 21087 - PR IMPRESSION & PREPARATION NASAL PROSTHESIS for patients that will have cleft surgery in the future. This code has a 90 day global period. It's not technically a surgery. Does this mean any E/Ms billed within this 90 day global period can't be billed? Since is not a surgical procedure, rather a fitting, I wouldn't think that the use of 99024 would be appropriate. Thank you in advance for any information you can provide.
