Hi I billed a 21552 and a 13132, and according to the AAD 21552 code can be bundled with a simple and intermediate repair but can be billed separately with a complex repair when extensive undermining is performed. It was bundled by Aetna and only one code paid, I sent notes in with a copy of that information from the AAD coding book with the visit notes showing that extensive undermining performed and they still bundled the repair code in. Any suggestions on how I can appeal this?
