I have a patient that had multiple large polyps, that took some time to remove. I would like to add Modifier 22 as it was an extensive procedure. I am trying to figure out the best way to submit. Submitting electronically I have no way of adding records. Would you bill electronically and wait for denial to upload records, or would you submit on paper and send records at the same time.
