Both codes were submitted for a one level fusion on L5-S1. Normally we would suggest using the most comprehensive codes, however these two codes do not show an Edit together although they are both fusion codes. Thoughts?

The 22800 is for spinal deformity with or w/o cast for up to 6 vertebral segments; where 22633 is a true arthrodesis to me but technique is combined posteriror or posteriorlateral with posterior interbody technique single interspace.
