Patient is in global for right knee, he comes in for a post surgery visit and has his left knee injected. We bill an E&M for the left knee and we bill for the injection, what modifiers would you use on the E&M?
 
Modifier 24 unrelated evaluation & management service by the same physician during a postoperative period would be my choice.
 
When you say "injection" did you perform 20610? If so, you would bill both.

9921X-24/25 (unrelated to post op And /separate, identifiable E/M)
20610-79 (example-assuming you did a joint inj.)
