Hello, I know this has been beaten to death but i just want to confirm this is being coded correctly.

video monitoring starts at: 10:31am on 5/28 and ends 6:01am on 5/29

then another video monitoring is started at: 6:02am on 5/29 and ends at 15:28pm of 5/29.

This is currently being billed as

95951-26
95951-26-52

is this correct? I keep thinking this should actually be just a 95951 since the total duration of the eeg is 28.95 hours.

what am i missing?

24 hour EEG

That looks correct to me as long as the test was attended. Otherwise, it should be 95953- 26 for the first 24 hours and then 95953-26-52, or 95813-26 for greater than one hour as it really was closer to that CPT than the less than 121 hours on a 24 test that is represented by the -52.
