I have situations where I have a patient see 2 providers in my clinic on the same day but at different times. One visit is with our PA in the morning for gyn/pap and the other visit is later in the day with thier PCP for issues such as HTN or DM etc. My PCP bills an E/M such as 99213 my PA will bill the Preventative exam such as 99396. My question is - is it appropriate to attach a -25 to the PCP visit or does each visit stand alone?

Thanks,
Misty
