Prior to the code creation of 25448, we were told that 25447 included removal of trapezoid OR trapezium. When the physician removed both, we were to bill 25210 with modifier 59 to indicate the additional bone being removed. Has this changed with the creation of 25448? We are getting a lot of denials on 25210-59 and I can't find anything that states this is also included in 25448. TY
