There are no CCI edits for these procedures. However we have an insurance that is denying them as included and giving no other explaination than that.
POSTOPERATIVE DIAGNOSIS:[/B]Right knee proximal tibia-fibula joint osteoarthritis with
synovial cyst formation causing peroneal nerve compression.
OPERATION PERFORMED:
Right knee open peroneal nerve dissection with proximal
tibia-fibula joint fusion.
Im pretty new to the orthopedic field and I tried looking everywhere for a way to explain why these are not included. Could anyone out there please help me understand so I can explain it or reference me somewhere that may be able to help me. Your help would be so much appriciated.
