I am not sure if there is enough documentation for debridement and if so, not sure which one to use between 97xxx or 1104x?

DX: Chronic osteomyelitis and non-healing diabetic foot ulcer

Procedure: resection of the osteomyelitis of left calcaneus
debridement of non-healing diabetic foot ulcer

left foot revealed there is chronic severe induration with open wound at the plantar aspect of the left calcaneus. x rays show there is hypertrophy of the bone directly related to the wound. She has tried wound vac, local care, hyperbaric oxygen therapy.

Attention was directed to the plantar aspect of the left calcaneus where open wound was identified. The edge of the wound was extended approximately 3cm both proximal and distally. utilizing the meticulous blunt dissection, incision was deepened down to the level of the calcaneus.. There was an enlarged hypertrophic bone encountered with the use of curved osteotome and mallet and all hypertrophic bone was resected smooth the remaining portion of the calcaneus. The alternative bone was rasped smooth. The site was flushed with copious amount of normal sterile saline. Hypertrophied and the laterlized tissue was excised. The wound margins were freshened with #15 blade. closure then described.

Thanks

Podiatry procedures are not my specialty, but what about 28120 if the area of calcaneal osteomyelitis was resected?
