Doctor did fusion DIP joint finger with internal fixation. He did this on three separate fingers. Well the code is 26860. However, Is it 29860 for each finger ? There is CPT
26861 which is each additional joint.
I am unsure if it is for the addition joint on the same finger? Or does that apply when it
is separate fingers ?
Can someone please help me with this ?
