There isn't a CCI edit on this. Is it separately billable? I'm thinking when it's the same nostrils, it's not.

In order to better evaluate the epistaxis, nasal endoscopy was performed. Cottonoids soaked in 4% lidocaine and oxymetazoline were placed in the nasal cavities bilaterally. These were removed after a few minutes. A flexible fiberoptic endoscope was introduced on the right. The nasal mucosa was healthy. The nasal airway was patent. There were no polyps or purulence. On the left there was a small area of flesh blood on the anterior septum and a small area of crusting on the lateral nasal wall anterior to the head of the inferior turbinate. Otherwise, the nasal airway was patent. There were no polyps. There were no masses or ulceration.

The abnormal areas on the left septum and left lateral nasal wall were cauterized with silver nitrate. Bacitracin ointment was applied.
