Is this 31535 Op note complete, or should I add mod 52? Does tongue need to be documented?
(It is a direct laryngoscopy with 2 biopsies from same tonsil)
DESCRIPTION OF PROCEDURE:
Patient is brought to the operating room and placed in supine position. Examination of oropharynx reveals slightly granular right tonsil. Region is anesthetised with topical Hurricane and infiltrated with 1% lidocaine with 1:100,000 epi. Two biopsies are obtained and hemostasis is established with AgN03 and local pressure. Procedure tolerated well.
