Our physician feels it is appropriate to bill 31615 for the below operative report, however he didn't document that he viewed the airways of the lungs.
Would it be appropriate to bill this as 31615 with modifier 52?

You are correct that 31615 describes a complete bronchoscopy. 31575 appears to be more appropriate. You can see a related question and answer in the December 2020 CPT Assistant newsletter.
