My provide does a larynscope to visualize the cords . He then applies typical anes. After this he does a rigid bronchoscopy which advanced through the cords and inspected the glottic structures.

My question is that since the provider passed through the cords to get to the glottis structures, does this make the laryngoscopy inclusive to the bronchoscopy? Should I only billed for the bronchoscopy?

Or

Are the still two separate procedures and a -59 should be added?;)
