We bill for several ASCs ( GI specialty) and we use the 33 modifier if a patient is over 50 and the indications are for a screening (v76.51). I am trying to understand if the professional billing would also use the 33 modifier. ( For Private Ins.) Could anyone provide some additional information on how they bill for the professional side?
