Has anyone else had issues getting 33208 paid? I am unable to get a clear answer from UCH regarding what the issue is but I think it has to do with the use of the KX modifier and the DX. Does anyone know if the KX modifier is being used at this time?
 
I believe some insurances you can use it. It was effective prior but a hold was put on the implementation date. Certain dx do have to be used in order for the KX modifier to be utilized. Of course the documentation to support the KX modifier has to be there also. I am at home and my information is at work. I will try to get you the transmittal number.
