Hello fellow coders.
I'm newly working with a vascular surgeon and having some trouble with the radiofrequency ablations that are being done in the office. Actually what I'm having trouble with is the post-procedural ultrasounds.
The code states 'inclusive of all imaging guidance and monitoring'. Is that just the day of? We also do ultrasound three days and one month after to be sure that the procedure was successful. The procedure (36475) has a 0 day follow up/global period. So my question is - Can I bill for ultrasounds on day three and at one month after the procedure?
