I have been struggling to find information stating that it is ok for a Respiratory Therapist to bill CPT 36620 Arterial catheterization or cannulation for sampling, monitoring or transfusion (separate procedure); percutaneous. I have not found anything, and they would like to bill for this code.

Does anyone have information on this that could support billing or not billing for this by an RT?
